US: Palihotel San Diego joins the boutique collection of hotels and residences at Palisociety as the company’s fifteenth hotel opening to date.
Palihotel San Diego follows the recent opening of Palihouse West Hollywood.
The San Diego hotel is housed in a building dating back to 1912, located in the city’s downtown Gaslamp Quarter. The building originally opened as the St. James Hotel. Now transformed into a Palisociety hotel, the property features 122 guest rooms, a new restaurant, private event space, and a roof deck.
All guest rooms are spread across ten floors with queen, king, suite and ADA accessible accommodation available. In-room amenities include Diptyque bath products, Nespresso coffee machines, Bellino linens, Smeg mini fridges, and more.
The Saint James French Diner is an original concept from Palisociety’s dining group, led by executive chef Casey Lane. The menu blends classic American diner with French bistro cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Up on the eleventh floor, the open-air rooftop deck features a lounge area alongside a bar serving wine, cocktails and small bites.
Forthcoming 2023 locations for Palisociety include Hollywood, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Tampa and New Orleans. Currently, the group operates 11 Palihotel and four ARRIVE properties. ARRIVE Hotels & Restaurants were acquired by Palisociety in 2021.
